Before we left--a little Christmas cheer!
For memories sake I'm including it all, but for times' sake I'm not cutting and pasting them into the correct order :)
Day of, stocking festivities
Family tradition of "Teach the Children" story read by Nana
Day of Christmas at the elementary school where we had dinner...4-square & bum scooters!!
Turkey men--Papa had the boys do most of the watching over whilst he was at work and it was in the wood-burning stove--way to go men!!
Nativity set making for the neighbors
that's a full lap!!
I didn't see him for a whole week and we are reunited at last!!
Tree-hat :)
Lots of this going on...big boys and Rhett LOVED it!!
The "Elsa" radio--from Nana!
Her first 'real' haircut!
Spending time with G'ma Laretta & the Summers'!
On our way to Christmas dinner!
The official Christmas line-up in the hall!
The dinner with one and all!
The girls got some hang out time and we spent a couple hours sitting and reading in Deseret Book!
Devin and the Sherilyn (before she became the 'Aunt')
G'ma Bessie--94 and going strong!
My little snowmen--wait, is Jaydon wearing Nana's coat??
Christmas present to Nana: organizing all of her millions of DVD's
And helping her decorate some more...
Ice-cream trip
Doing a little hunting...
The kiddie train...
The promised, late-night "Cookie Monster" for the boys
Lots of littles looking and laughing at pics!
Whoa bubbles--they love Papa & Nana's tub!
Cuddles with Aunt Meagan
At Nana's work
Christmas day at G'ma Laretta's
I know I shouldn't have, but I just couldn't resist all those nakey bums...we wondered why they weren't coming to the tubbie...
Nana loves
Family talent show...ours: we sang "I Picked the Reddest Apple." That is a song I sang at a talent show when I was a wee lass.
Papa dressed up for sweater day at work--he won a prize!
Papa knows how much Jyson loves origami so he arranged for him to go see and talk with some people at BYU who are working on some way cool projects that incorporate lots of origami...
The way I kept busy with the littles...
Nana's present to Jaydon--on a trip to Florida she combed the beach looking for shells that fit inside each other...look how many there are! Jaydon loved it!!
Rhett heaven
He asked for one present: a transformer (we got him one last Christmas and I gave it away thinking he didn't really play with it--big mistake, he asked about it for months!)--Nana delivered!
Ari would not let go of Devin's arm when it was finally time to say good-bye...she had such a hard time with it! And she wasn't the only ones...water was leaking out of many eyes...we love our families sooo much!!
