On the way to Sweetwater we had the first serious snow of the season...so much so that on the way there we pulled over our 2 car caravan (Tony already at work with the other car & the rest of us over squished in the other 2 vehicles) to help out someone who was stuck--we had so many strapping young men with us after all! Well, it was on a curve & after I let them out there was a car behind me so I pulled forward, planning to pull off to the side asap. Unfortunately, I tried once or twice & could feel me slipping so I kept driving until there was a very flat, safe place to turn around. The poor guys were left out in the snow for a good 10 min or so while I made that trip...
Since Tony had to go back to work the day after Christmas, we made the most of it & went to visit him during his lunch break. In addition, since the water at our house was only a finger-width trickle & vacillated greatly between super hot to coldy coldy (thanks Sienna for the terminology) for more than half the time they were there, a few of the fam also opted to shower in the facilities at his work (as well as the YMCA on other days). Somehow, I don't think 1902 was a great year for water pressure, which happens to be when the house was built.
Where's Waldo-tony?
The shipping room...lots of guitars...and instruments...and cables, cords, speakers...........
Those who hadn't been there previously got to go on a tour Tony-hosted
Apparently this is how Sienna preferred to take the tour the entire time, and Nana & Uncle Dev graciously complied :)
So many kinds of games!!
After that the girls & Jared :) went shopping the after-Christmas sales for like, the rest of the night with our Christmas money :). A few of the guys met us for the last hour or so to trade off so they could get some shopping too...which kind of extended into the next couple of days as well...
